Sermon Series
As we come to the final chapters of our year-long study in the Gospel of Matthew, the story moves swiftly and solemnly toward the cross—and beyond it. In Matthew 26–28, the King enters His darkest hour: betrayed by a friend, abandoned by His disciples, condemned by earthly powers, and crucified as a criminal. Yet what appears to be defeat is, in fact, the unfolding of God’s victorious plan. Through suffering obedience, sacrificial love, and unwavering trust in the Father, Jesus confronts sin, death, and the powers of darkness head-on.
In The King Conquers, we will walk with Jesus from the upper room to the empty tomb and see how His Kingdom is established not by force, but by faithfulness unto death—and triumph through resurrection. These chapters reveal a King who conquers by laying down His life and reigns by rising again in glory. As we journey toward Easter, we are invited not only to behold Christ’s victory, but to live in light of it—marked by repentance, hope, courage, and worship of the risen King. Join us as we behold the cross, celebrate the resurrection, and rejoice in the conquering reign of Jesus Christ.
