We know that God desires for us to serve Him so that others will know of His love.   Our local "Live to Serve" campaign is people, volunteering their time to express their faith by giving of themselves in service to others.  They show Christ's compassion by welcoming, feeding, and working with homeless guests throughout the year.  They help the elderly and those with low mobility with home maintenance.  Gather critically needed supplies and care packages to send to our troops overseas.  Our "Live to Serve" campaign consists of a community Thanksgiving Dinner,  collecting shoe boxes full of toys and supplies to send to needy kids around the world for Christmas ,  and giving Christmas to families in need in our local community - and much more, anything to help meet the needs of others.

We do this not because they want attention or affirmation.  We do it because we, like many others, have learned that life is more fulling when you live beyond yourself.
